QED provides consultation and advice as to the most appropriate system for every situation so that hearing aid users can always hear clearly and without distortion.  Audio induction loop systems help the hearing aid user by providing clearer sound than is obtainable through the hearing aid alone. 

A magnetic field is generated by driving an audio frequency current through a loop of wire.  Most hearing aids have a "T" position and "M" position.  The "M" position is for normal listening and uses the microphone built into the hearing aid.  The "T" position is for receiving sound via the in-built induction coil.

QED ensures that all installations meet international standards and that all loop systems remain within permissable magnetic field strengths.
